ABOUT ME

Arnold Dahl-Wooley (he/him)
Public Speaker

I am an enrolled member of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe and am proud to be one-half of the first same-sex marriage sanctioned by the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. As a teenager, I heard my voice on a tape recorder and panicked. I toiled at masking the gayness heard in the playback. Today, I've made a life-long commitment to use my authentic voice for good.  Together, my husband Matthew and I are on a mission to make the world a better, easier, safer place for other Two-Spirit individuals of all ages and their families.  Through public speaking, outreach, and community-building opportunities, our intent is to create a brighter future for all - where all can thrive. We are a part of organizations that are committed to connecting and empowering Two-Spirit people and those who love them with culturally relevant and supportive resources, programs, and support groups.

Services

Public Speaking

As a Two Spirit public speaker, I am passionate about sharing the rich history and culture of LGBTQ+ in Native American culture. Through my presentations, I aim to educate and inspire others to embrace diversity and inclusivity in our modern society. Join me in celebrating the unique contributions of Two Spirit people and promoting acceptance for all.

Support Groups

In order to provide a safe space for

2SLGBTQ+ individuals and allies, I host monthly support groups! In our group, we provide a welcoming environment for discussion and conversation, as well as make an effort to highlight upcoming events. This space is made for YOU. Join us to see what authentic community support looks like.
